# getCurrentRange()

## `Range.prototype.getCurrentRange()`

The `getCurrentRange()` method returns a range of numbers from [minimum](https://range.angular-package.dev/draft/range/properties/min) to the current [`value`](https://range.angular-package.dev/draft/range/accessors/value) by the [`step`](https://range.angular-package.dev/draft/range/accessors/get-step) of a specified [`Range`](https://range.angular-package.dev/draft/range) object.

{% code title="range.class.ts" %}

```typescript
public getCurrentRange(): Readonly<Array<number>> | undefined {
  return typeof this.value === 'number'
    ? this.getRange(this.value)
    : undefined;
}
```

{% endcode %}
